Saw Natalie for bloods who is always a lovely lady always making me feel comfortable. Doctors are hit and miss new ones especially. Dr Sani lovely chap. Reception again hit and miss. Ladies on the phone always go above and beyond, front of house staff not so much. Always find City road a better experience overall, occasionally handed things to Manor reception that get “lost” prescriptions not getting done when handed in the box up there. As I said hit and miss overall ok. Thanks.

Because i feel the nurses work hard and listen to me and i have no complaints regarding them and their professionalism.. The young man on reception is also professional and helpful. However, its still difficult to get appointments and get through when calling...and i feel communication could be improved between staff and patients.

Bit disappointing when you get a letter to book an asthma review, then because ive not rang, i get a text for the same thing and to click on the link and book an appointment. So i click on the link, and book an appointment at 1.30pm. I finish work early at 1.00pm, only to get to the appointment, and the lady who i saw said she cant do asthma reviews, and it shouldnt have let me pick an appointment with her when following the link. So i had finished work 3 hours early for no reason and have now had to book in for another appointment!

My family have used the service recently, more than usual and all of the interactions, phone calls and appointments have been positive experiences, despite the health worries. Literally every person we’ve come into contact with has been patient, caring and understanding. The new phone system that means you’re not on hold for a long time is also a significant improvement!

I chose this responce as it depends on the receptionist or dr or nurse you see, for the last couple of times ive been its been a positive appointment,the man doing reseption is lovely not like some of those ignorant arrogant women.I got to see Dr Mothersdale who is my original doctor & this morning i had bloods taken by Stella she is lovely, she listens & gives you good feed back, if every day was like today& my last appointment i would have chosen extremely likely but that is impossible sorry.

I called today and was triaged quickly leading to a face to face appointment the same day. The doctor was very thorough, I didn’t feel rushed and felt that I had been listened to. We even had time for a little chat about my work, the Dr had an excellent rapport with me as his patient.

All the regular doctors have left. These temporary doctors don’t have time to listen to a patient’s illnesses or have the patience to let a patient discuss their symptoms, they Keep wanting to rush you out of their office. Then they forget to write down the medication you’re supposed to receive on the prescription.

Its very easy to make an appointment now. All the reception staff are really helpful and do the most to make sure you get an appointment or suggest alternatives such as out of hours etc. the doctors are really good as well.

I had a very good experience today but this is the first time since I registered with the practice over 10 years ago. So, the triage trial with phone calls seems to be a much more efficient system than previous experiences. I hope it continues to be.

I had my appointment today but it should have been last week as the doctor wanted them repeating within a week but you didn't have any appointments and i couldn't get through on the phone had to come in to surgery to book, also nobody has said whats wrong and what wanted repeating its a clear lack of communication, but the nurse i had was lovely very caring.

The nurse was lovely, the receptionist on the other hand greeted us with opening the door and then proceeded to quickly advised that if we didn’t have appointments we would have to ring the surgery number. I don’t like how unfriendly the drs surgery is becoming and the fact you have to call to be triaged and then not offered an appointment unless deemed so. Some people find it hard to discuss things on a phone others need face to face to feel reassured they are ok. I personally haven’t had great experiences with receptions at the practice over the last 12 months and the lack of GP appointments and care available is very disappointing.

Based on my appointment and interaction today with surgery it was very positive,which isn’t usually the case.the gp I saw dr.Webb was what a doctor should be,i was treat with respect,understanding and my needs met which is such a refreshing change and made a whole difference to my day,I’m very appreciative of dr Webb from today’s appointment,he took great care In my medical needs and wasn’t rushing me out of the door or pressurising me to get to his next patient I hope to see him in the future.

Prior to this appointment I had a home call from Dr Webb he was very understanding and reassuring to me as I was very concerned on the way I was feeling after a stay in hospital with pneumonia.

Because of how the new triage system works you dont always need to see a doctor face to face if its just about some test results but may still need to speak to one the queueing system was always full and there was no other options to speak to anyone the phone went dead when queue full no one should be trying for a week trying to speak to sombody about anything medica.l the new way is great feel more at ease knowing if i find any lumps or bumps or have any worries i can speak to someone brilliant new way.

Every time I have called for an appointment I’ve managed to get one and the people on the phone have been so kind and accommodating (before it was triaged) they’re just as nice now when taking details. The GP I saw today (18.06.23) was amazing, he took his time with my little boy and thoroughly checked him over and gave me advice on what to do, he was understanding and didn’t rush me out of the door. The fact that you call for an appointment even though a triage appointment is still not available, it’s not a great service for anyone that works full time to be held on a phone line queue to be then told to call back tomorrow at the same time which maybe the same situation. This is creating a service for people on benefits that have all day to sit and wait about in a phone queue

The nurse who saw me was wonderful but i have had so much troubles getting appointments at this Doctors i try and use other ways such as blood test at Hallamshire hospital and walk in center. I was surprised when i called yesterday that i could get a blood test today but have hhave recently been discharged from hospital with pancreatitis. Any other time in the past there hasn't been any appointment available for weeks and i work so im finding it better to seek walk in center as at leat i know ill be seen. Plus the trearge system doesn't work for me as i work in a nursery and can't have my phone due to data protection /safef guarding so how do i answer Drs call. However all staff wete very helpful and professional today

I have been registered with the practise for over 10 years. My experience has been patchy. Regular blood tests - good when Natalie does it, butchery when other staff draw blood. Doctor rotation a lottery - occasionally very good, sometimes a little diffident. Not easy to see a Doctor tbh. Hopefully the new telephone appt system will help. Some Kafka-esque experiences e.g. we are not renewing your meds until you come in for a blood test- i had taken one weeks before as i do every 3 months. I have taken lithium for manic depression RELIGIOUSLY for 22 years. Thank God my discipline has not necessitated Mental Health intervention - I am not very confident that this practise would be as effective as my previous GP practise.

Dr Mothersdale is a first-rate G.P. - demonstrates kindness, caring and understanding - a great bed-side manner - I am sure he will encourage other General Practitioners and medical staff in the practice to follow his leading example. He, alongside Clare, strive to make the practice the best it can be! The Triage system of allocating appointments seems to be working well - hopefully it will be adopted on a permanent basis - this system has long been adopted by other practices in the co-operative and from what I hear, proves to be successful. I had a very good experience. Getting through via telephone has massively improved and call back has improved. The GP was very good on the phone. The reason for my answer is because the service at the surgery got so bad that its going to take more than a couple of recent calls to convince me it will continue to stay like this. First off, the doctor seems like he's too quick to get rid of me. He isn't very convincing and leaves loophole in information about my condition. The gynae hasn't gotten back to me as its been over a month I have been referred. Then the point of telling me to get my urine sample and the whole process doesn't seem very private and confidential. The phone system is not good. I had to call 33 times before getting through. This puts me off seeing the doctor. And sometimes problems get worse because I've not asked for help. The doctor was polite and helpful and provided some treatment to try. I could tell he didn't particularly want a long conversation, we were rather late starting, so I didn't explain all my symptoms fully.

Based solely on today’s experience I more than likely recommend. I got through to the receptionist within 10 minutes and had an appointment 5 minutes later. Phone line is not as hard or long to be answered like they used to be. People on here are saying phones never get answered but I wonder when they last tried because I have called on multiple occasions in the last few months at different times of the day and the phones are answered so quickly sometime being number 1 and answers in seconds. I rang the surgery at around 9am and was 3rd in the queue. The receptionist soon answered and offered me an appointment at 10am with Sarah an ACP, at Park Health centre, convenient for me. After a short wait at the surgery, Sarah invited me into her room. She was knowledgeable and listened to me. At one point I was feeling a little unwell with the heat and Sarah arranged for someone to bring me a drink of water. I left with advice about the use of ibroprofen and paracetamol as painkillers for my suspected arthritis, a prescription for cream to put on my knee, a letter to give access for an x-ray at the Hallamshire hospital and an assurance that Sarah was forwarding my name for physio therapy. I was clear about the next steps.

Previously took 3 visits and over a week to get repeat prescription.Wife was sent a text to ring up to make an appointment to discuss results of a recent scan.Could not get through in the morning as usual so rang after dinner to be told surgery cloed ring back tomorrow. it is impossible to get an appointment, i have tried for over a month and they advise i call in the morning and keep dialling if i can’t get through, dialled over 100 times for over an hour and couldn’t get through. so i went this morning as there is no other way to get an appointment other than going at 8am but u have to be there at at least 7:30am to make sure you’re at the front of the queue or else you might be turned away. waited an hour in the waiting room just to have a 2 minute appointment telling me i can’t get help. i have a bad experience every time with this practice so as soon as i left my appointment i went to the darnall practice and registered there instead. it is unacceptable.

The new triage service this week I was told I’d get a call back within two hours. The call would come from a GP but it was a lady who dealt with prescription's we wanted to enquire if we could get fortisip equivalent for mum as she is losing appetite, lady told me mums is classed as obese and her BMI is high. Very hard to book an apointment and when you have one the GP literally tell you that she do not have time to discuss all your problems, even when they can be related. So I need to wake up again next day to try to book me in. I had to have my blood results done so because nobody contacted me, I called myself just to find out I will have to repeat them. I did not get a chance to find out why but already once they lost or damaged my sample. It is very unprofesional and no one really care for a life of a sick person. I would refer to Manor Park centre GP, but the problem is when you call to book an appointment for asthma review or blood test or anything relating to the nurse they don’t always have appointments close or on the day. A lot of people get confused with it being a joint doctors such as the one on duke street and the one on Manor Park centre , for myself I find it extremely difficult to get to duke street where as Manor Park centre is most popular common and eaist to get to. I also find it confusing not just for myself but for others when the receptionist says “park site” automatically you would think Manor Park as in “park” site but it isn’t it’s duke street. It would help if they changed the GP surgery name to help those who find things like this difficult and not always accessible. Also I think people also get put off due to the fact there is no public transport that can run between doctors surgery’s. The number 10A used to go pass duke street site but goes in the opsit direction, think people need to be aware of this.

Poor receptionists, I was stood at the reception for 10 minutes with 3 other people all waiting no one was manning the reception you could hear the staff talking and laughing in the back room had to go and knock on side door to get a response from them was late for my appointment due to this. Unprofessional, there was no apology from the staff.

The reception staff are always so welcoming, helpful and friendly. I have also had positive experiences with the healthcare workers but it can be difficult to get in and see them sadly. I think considering the austerity and cuts to resources the practice does an amazing job. My main issue is that everyone has stopped wearing masks despite us being in a pandemic still and it makes me feel unsafe.

I was seen by Dr Webb today & feel like he actually had the time to listen to my symptoms & act upon them, shame all Drs can't do the same. It is almost impossible to get an appointment at the surgery. I managed to get todays appointment a couple of weeks ago, but whenever you ring on the day, you're told to ring back the next morning, to be told the same. You can't book an appointment through the NHS app as there's never anything available for the next '16 weeks'. Really poor service really & this is why the A&E department is manic on a daily basis, people have no choice to go there. My partner received a text message from the surgery saying the Dr would like to discuss his scan results with him & to ring up to book in, but can't get an appointment to discuss his results.

The reception escalated the problem to her manager, which then gave me the sense that she cared and wanted help with the situation that found myself in. The act takenby stop other patients from going through the same situation . Also the managers taken the time to contact me. Which was very nice. This to me show that we all human and some time in our lives, we need a little help. Keep up the good work.

In about 3 years out of 50 to 60 calls only managed to get 2 or 3 appointments when you phone your always in a queue after about 30 to 40 minutes your 1st in queue then phone cuts off you can try all day & thats all that happens.Your lucky if you get through then when you do they say no appointments were full today come to surgery befor 8am then your still not guaranteed an appointment its a joke

Had a follow up appointment with Dr Pepper at the Sheffield Park Practice and she was very thorough when diagnosing me with anaemia. She requested and tested a urine sample, FIT test test and carried out general observations to help pinpoint the exact cause for the anaemia, as well as prescribing me with iron deficiency medication. Very appreciative of the care received during this appointment and not feeling ‘rushed’ at my appointment.

My experiences with the GP are not consistent and during your services is never something I look forward to because of this. My issue is with staffing from the Receptionists to the Nurses. I have been talked down to, questioned and misguided by numerous staff in the space of 6 months. A simple request from myself that wouldnt be a problem anywhere else, becomes an awkward conversation where the member of staff spends more time trying to avoid my request by talking their way out of it or saying its not possible. Until, eventually it gets done after me having to challenge the decline of the request and explain why I need it going in different ways. Information given out about ordering prescriptions, opening times, appointments and the website seem to change every time I speak to a member of staff too.

Even though it is hard to get an appointment through telephone, we tend to go early before 8am and make the appointment in person and when we make the appointment the doctors are very professional. In my recent visit for myself and my son, we were seen by Doctor Webb, who was very professional, very understanding and answered all our questions. My bloods came back abnormal that I’d had taken the day before. The doctor rang me the next morning to tell me my kidney function had gone down by one count he then rang the renal unit to inform them of this then rang me back with the information he’d received which I thought was very caring and caring. Spoke to Duty Dr so helpful and I was very relieved he called.For that telrphone support and rhe lady who did my heakth check on 15th on Jsnuary and also thr call eith s Dr eho did some referrals for ne Excellrnt,could not br better. However and separate from that as a Carer for my husband we we both very stressed and my hudbsnd ended up in A&E as a result of poor managemrnt by thr prsctice of his complex pain needs.This resylted in loss of income as I could not eork thr next day having to drive to different pharmacies to get thr medications he required.This had I hastened to see been rectified now but it took a number of months despite four Drs seeing him

Put in request for medicarion thats not on repeat have to wait ages and phone for it everyday tll its sorted.at times had no medication for days making my anxiety even worse!!
